But We Hated the 5:00 AM Alarm.

The story of Coopr™ didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in the mud, in our pajamas, in the pouring rain.

If you keep chickens, you know the routine. You love your flock. You name them, you feed them treats, and you watch them grow. They aren't just livestock; they are pets.

But being a "Chicken Parent" comes with a heavy price tag: Your Sleep.

For years, we lived by the sun. If the sun was up, we had to be up. It didn't matter if it was a freezing Sunday morning or if we were sick. If we didn't get out there to open the door, the flock would stress out. If we didn't get home by sunset to lock it, the predators would move in.

The "Snooze Button" Dream

We looked for a solution. We bought the cheap solar doors (they failed when it was cloudy). We tried the "string-pulled" openers (raccoons lifted them up in 5 minutes). We looked at the industrial options (too complicated to wire up).

We realized that nobody had built a door for real life. We wanted a door that was:

  1. Stronger than a raccoon.
  2. Simple enough to install in 10 minutes.
  3. Reliable enough to let us sleep in.

So, We Built Coopr.

We engineered Coopr™ to be the "Night Watchman" we always wanted. We ditched the unreliable solar panels for a High-Efficiency Battery Core that works in the shade. We replaced the flimsy strings with Solid Locking Gears that refuse to budge. We added Safety Sensors because we know that chickens aren't always the smartest animals, and they need protection.

Today, Coopr™ protects thousands of flocks across the country. But our favorite metric isn't "units sold." It’s "hours of sleep reclaimed."

We exist so you can wake up slowly. We exist so you can have that second cup of coffee. We exist so you can go out for dinner without checking your watch every 5 minutes.
